Condolences to Charlie's family and all who knew him. He was bright, creative, and visionary as art, advertising and the Internet were all coming together. We all learned so much from him at WC&M and SI.

May the angels bring him into eternal life. May he rest in the arms of God. I knew him from both grade school and high school. Fond memories. Very intelligent person. Rest In Peace, Charlie.

I knew Charlie in high school. He was one of a kind in the best possible way. He was smart, funny and his own person. The world needs more people like him. My condolences to his family.

One of my favorite Charlie memories was being partners on the GR to Grand Haven Bike Run. 24 miles, 1 bike and take turns running and riding. Whoever rides can talk and Charlie could run or talk with the best of em. Charlie lit up a room, woke up the road and made everything smarter. Intellectually he was that rare self-sharpening pencil who could create original works. What a joy to have known him and I look forward to running with him in heaven.
