Not sure what to say?

''Grandfather,

You were the best lover of all time, and the best grandfather I could have.

The Remembrance of the good done by those we love is the only consolation that we have lost them. May we take comfort in knowing there is one more angel above us. Prayers lifted for the McGuigan family and all who loved my Cousin Chuck for he is gone form our sight, but never from our hearts. #RIPChuck ❤

Hi Jean, So So Sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. Was surprised as nothing was said of his health in your e-mails. Got a card to send but could not send it as I don't have your address. You have a lovely family and sure you will have many memories from high school and 60 years of marriage and lots of support. You are in my prayers! You can e-mail me your address and I will send you my phone number...just in case you want to talk sometime.

My husband an I only got to know Jean and Chuck these past few years, seeing them at the 7 AM mass each Sunday. We had a chance to chat briefly each week after the service. Chuck was always so upbeat and a fun person to visit and know.

He certainly had a wonderful and full life. Our condolences to Jean and the entire family. He will truly be missed!

I am very sorry to hear about Coach McGuigan's passing. I was lucky enough to play on one of his teams and felt his coaching improved me as a player and person. - Martin Walsh, San Francisco May 10, 2017

My condolences to you all. You are in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I worked in his office on Broadway for several years in the late 70's and early 80's. He was one of my first bosses and taught me so much. My condolences to the entire McGuigan family.

Played with Chuck summer of 1951 in Boonville California. We worked the lumber mills and played a couple times a week in a makeshift ball field. Chuck was a good ball player and gave it his all. One of our teammates Harry Higgins passed recently so maybe they can get together for a ballgame. He did his best on this earth and should be rewarded in the hereafter. Ron Gaggero

I learned the foundation of being a baseball player from him as he covered everything the game had to offer. Being coached by him through my years at O.L.A. brought out the best in me especially as I grew up. His disciplined but carrying approach to coaching followed me to when I had a chance to coach.

My condolences to Chris and the McGuigan family as this is a sad loss.
