I write this with a heavy heart, on hearing of Dad's passing. He was always supportive through good times and bad, and never spoke a harsh word to anyone. I know of no better man. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest easy, sailor, until we meet again.

I am saddened to learn of Chuck's passing. He was a wonderful friend and fellow State O-Mainer. I have thought about him many times when back up North from my winter home in FL to Severna Park. It is a sad day today for me while in Vancouver BC to learn of his passing. My heartfelt sympathy & condolences to his family during these hours of sorrow. God bless his soul & memory.
