Charles “Butchie” McKendree, 42, of Mesquite, Texas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 17, 2005. He was born in Longview, Texas, moved to Mesquite, and resided in Texas until his death. He served in the Navy and was a convenience store manager.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Hippler of Beebe; three brothers, Don McKendree and wife Emily of Utah, Wayne McKendree of Beebe, Ron McKendree and wife Nancy of Ward; two sisters, Debbie Faulk and husband Brian of Hope, Cindy Tallent and husband Jerry of Ward; nieces and nephews, Brandon and Cory, Charlie, Patricia, Mike, Trevor, Zach, Brandy, Don, Jr., Tony and David and numerous great nieces and nephews and family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Theril McKendree and a brother, Delton Ray McKendree.

Family will receive friends at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday. Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Westbrook Funeral Home with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery.
