Not sure what to say?

Brenda, so sorry you lost your best friend. You two were always a beautiful couple. Hal fondly remembered by all who knew him Ron

What a great guy, never met a stranger. Always had a story, and boy could he dance. We miss you.

I have known and spent time with Hal all my adult life. He was fun and a good friend. We played golf constantly and ate lunch a bunch and we solved all life problems.

Grew up with Hal in Nacogdoches. He was a character in a good way and I spent some time at his house doing homework in college. He was a most entertaining guy.

To the family ... There are just no words ... other than to say I love Hal and always will. Growing up with Hal was fun and never dull. Those knowing Hal well will understand me when I say that being around him was a delightful experience. Please accept my sincere condolences. With warmest regards, I remain Bobby Lee Owens Mason, Texas

Offering my condolences for the McKewen family. Sorry for your loss. May you find peace in God in this time of grief.

Condolences to the family and friends of the Commish. I enjoyed my times with Hal at Greystone. He always treated me with respect and dignity. it was a pleasure to serve him and Greystone. RIP Go ahead Hal you can cut that dogleg now.

Hal shared smiles, stories, laughter and dance steps. He would always outlast me on the dance floor! We will miss him! Prayers for peace and comfort for his family.

I am saddened to hear about Hal´s passing. He was always genuinely warm and friendly and funny too. When I first met Hal many years ago at Greystone CC he nicknamed me DG and it stuck. That´s all he called me from then on. Hal up in heaven, DG will miss you very much :( Love, Patty F
