My husband and I are so sorry to hear of Charles passing. We have known him for years, initially meeting thru the health care profession. He was truly one of a kind. He was always at the "ready" to make you laugh. His compassion, kindness, and love for his boys and grandkids was amazing. I am happy for him to join Kathy, his baby girl, and Tom.

Rest in peace,
I worked with Chuck at St. Francis. He was my first head nurse in ICU . He would send all of us to lunch, joking, ' I pump, she can breathe,' meaning the astounded secretary and laugh. He was a wonderful caring nurse,. Condolences to his family!

As a fellow Point Park graduate I was so grateful Chuck was the one to orient me to the Recovery Room before starting on my assigned cardiovascular floor. He was a great example of a caring nurse and always could make you laugh no matter how bad things seemed. Eating lunch with him was like attending a comedy show. When a dog was abandoned next door to me, Chuck adopted him and named him Dorito. As my supervisor, Chuck once told me that he would never ask anyone to do anything he himself...
