Not sure what to say?

Wendall Woodall, and his entire family, would like to express our condolensces, hearing this sad news. Charles did such an amazing commentary and presentation for my father at Webster City High School's first-ever induction for their newly-formed Sports Hall of Fame. The two of them go back to even before their Scouting exploits. Enjoyed meeting Charles at the house afterwards, and hearing the stories that weren't told earlier. A 'Gentleman,' through & through; he will be missed.

Growing up two blocks from the campus at Grinnell College, I remember Chuck McMurray as a good basketball player for the a strong Grinnell Pioneer team in the 1948-49 season, Coach John Pfitsch's first year. Chuck was solidly built and liked to mix it up with the opposition. His playing number was 78. Very sorry to read of his passing.

Anne & Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Charles was a true gentleman. We enjoyed our times together with both of you when we lived in Webster City. Charles and Marianne had a good time talking about her clothesline he put up, but somehow never got around to putting up yours Anne. Love and Blessings...Ward & Marianne
