Not sure what to say?

Mr. Meredith was one of the few teachers that I had who actually engaged students in a discussion about the subject he was teaching- history. He awakened your interest, and I'm sure helped to lead me to where I am now, working as an Archivist at my local Historical Society, engaging with people regularly on the subject of History.

Mineral King, Sequoia National Park

When I was a senior in high school in 1968 at Pequannock Township High School, my U.S. History teacher, Mr. Charles Meredith, told us about a controversy happening on the other side of the country, in the mountains of California. Chuck Meredith's Memorial at the Elk's Club last night was a joyous celebration of a man and his life. Coach Meredith and his wife Linda's children paid tribute to their father in the most remarkable way by sharing intimate and humorous moments of their lives. Linda and the children were gracious, articulate, loving and kind. There can be no greater tribute to a man and his life then this. He loved many and was loved by many. Well done Coach on a well lived life. Godspeed Beloved

Mrs. Meredith,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. While I did not have Mr. Meredith as a teacher I do remember him well and know that others in our class loved him as a coach and teacher. May the stories of friends and memories bring your family a sense of peace and comfort.

My deepest condolences to the Meredith family. 1974-1978--Mr. Meredith lived life with "passion" Passion for his work, his students, his athletes. A wonderful teacher--in and out of the classroom. I can still hear his laughter and see his smile. It was an exciting time at GRHS when Miss White and Mr. Meredith fell in love and married. Thank you for sharing a little piece of yourself with all of us at RHS. Gone, but not forgotten. - Paula (Briese) Ely
