Charles Merriam

In the early 70s my musical group, The Luziana Band, was signed to the A&M Record label concurrently with Charlie and his group, Punch. I came to know him and Kathy, Dee, and Steve well when I went out on the road with them several times playing bass in their backup group after my group had disbanded. I had the pleasure of getting to know Charlie very well and enjoyed my times on-the-road with him and his group. Rest in Peace, old friend.

I met Charles in Las Vegas when he was performing with tony orlando at the riviera hotel when i was a waitress. what a kind man, sweet manand i loved him. If i had known he was living in this area i would have loved to see him. We were good friends back in the day. My condolence's to his family and friends Cori

What am amazing man! I didn't have the pleasure of knowing him in his "hey-day" but what time I was able to spend enjoying him and his musical talent I will always cherish. My sympathy to my Dear "Sister" Donna, her Sister Sandi and the rest of the family. With much love to you all, Jo Ann
