Not sure what to say?

i want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for my dad. i especially thank all his friends, relatives , and family who paid their respects. -- it was very special to know how the smith family loved him so much. i also thank his neighbors and friends of old who came to pay their respects. god bless you all.

Good bye and God's blessing to a wonderful man. I first met Charles over 40 years ago. I was in my first year of Graduate School at LSU. I met his son Dennis. It was through Dennis that I met this wonderful man. We became fond of each other right away. He was a gifted conversationalist. I always enjoyed the times he would entertain us with his many experiences as a young man, his life in Baton Rouge and his many experiences while in the Coast Guard and his Assignment in Spain by his employer...

TO A GOOD MAN WHO HAD A GOOD FAMILY AND LIVED A FULL LIFE....ROBBY HUEY

For Lisa, Dennis, Craig, Glenn and Jan

Although I live in Iowa presently and am not able to attend the Service in person, I will be there in Spirit. Uncle Charles was one of my favorite relatives and I always looked forward to our visits, I just wished that there could have been more of them, but life has it's different paths. I send my loving thoughts to each of you and wish you God speed on your journey's.

Uncle Charles was a Light in this world and will continue with that...

Lisa and others you have my deepest condolences.
As my Godfather, PawPaw Charles gave me a lot of guidance, support and love. He showed everyone around him the meaning of True Friendship as that is what he was with my Grandparents. Through it all he was there for my Grandfather and Grandmother in many capacities. For that i will always be grateful. From trips to Madisonville or at my parents house having cook-outs, from being my sponsor during confirmation to lending an ear through hard...

I will miss my uncle. I have been thinking about him lately. He has always been pleasant even during the rough patches in his life. He was my last surviving uncle (by blood) and his sister Dorothy, who passed away in December, was my last surviving aunt. Now my siblings and cousins are the "older generation". It doesn't seem that long ago that we were all children.
