As the news of your passing reached me, it was as though my abilities to respond were stolen away from me. I loved you dearly, and had never previously dealt with such a grieving situation as this. Your attempts to teach me Maltese as a toddler, although failed, are amongst beautiful, clear, remaining memories of you that will never fade. I will miss you dearly, however I know with full confidence that you have passed to a greater place of serenity of which I cannot imagine....

Although time has passed, it feels like yesterday you left us.
