Charlie was one of those rare individuals who everyone seemed to like. He was friendly, optimistic, and very sociable. He always carried a smile and a look of “so glad to see you.” I would always see his gray truck at Cedarbrook Park. He would play tennis with anyone, whatever their level and would compliment you on your strokes. There were many “Charlies” who played tennis in the park, but he was referred to as “friendly” Charlie. He was certainly a friend to all and will be forever...

My sincere condolences to the Michaels Family. I knew Charlie through tennis days at Cedarbrook park as well as other tennis venues in the area. Charlie was one of the nicest individuals to set foot on this earth. He will be dearly missed.
