I worked with Russ later in his life when he had already established his legacy in the Pharmaceutical world. Russ was a kind, brilliant individual who always supported his family and mentored his students and people he worked with. He was very giving and unselfish with his knowledge. I really wish everyone remembers the tireless, hard working, strong man that he was. He loved his wife (Pat), daughter (Kelsie), grandchildren, family, and of course his dogs. Thank you for everything Russ....

I was deeply saddened to hear that Russ has passed away. He was not only a brilliant scholar but also a generous mentor whose guidance left a lasting impact on my life. He will be truly missed. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace Russ.
