MILLER, Mr. Charles Alexander, a former Golden Jubilee, departed April 15, 2008. He leaves a devoted wife, Mary (Maybe). He rests at Brunson Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are April 23, 2008, at 1 p.m., at Christian Tabernacle, 5100 Salem St., Richmond, Va. 23231.

I will always remember Mr. Miller for singing songs with The Golden Jubilee like "Nearer My God To Thee," "Sending Up My Timber," and many other songs while my parents were affilated with The New Golden Jubilee.

dad i will always keep your name in my heart mind body and soul. i am truly gratefull to god for the time that he allowed us to share together on this earth. i love you so much and your passing makes me realize that no one can take life for granted and you have to cherish every waking moment. i love you and you will be sorely missed.

Charles will never be fogotten by me because whenever I needed him he was always there for me and my kids. He accepted my kids as his grandchildren and never showed any difference between any of them. He would always say encouraging things to me whenever I was down and he would talk to me about things and no one ever knew.He was indeed a good father-in-law.
