Not sure what to say?

I just saw the obituary for Dr. Miller this week. I believe he was the doctor who cared for my mother, Dorothy Kearney, for some time and through her death in 1986. He was a very caring fellow. I had given permission to use a ventilator. Dorothy was furious, Charlie saie he couldn't remove it unless she could breathe on her own. She managed to recover just enough to do that. Later that day she quietly died, just as she would have wanted it.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Miller a few times. he and his wife were good personal friend of my parents. What I am thankfull for is that Dr. Miller saved my fathers life and we had another 8 years with my father. They were on vacation and saw some symptoms my father had. he insisted on my father getting tested and retested. My father had open heart surgery the next day. He was leaving for California and would not have made it. He truely cared.

Charlie was an amazing man. He lived life fully. He loved Florence and his family, and he loved to fly. His World War II stories about the Pacific theater were so interesting. He was a wealth of information about everything but was always modest about what he knew. His World War II adventures were so interesting. My husband and I were fortunate to know him for the past 20 years through Des Peres Rotary. The world is sadder with Charlie's passing. My condolences to Charlie's family. Fran McDaniel

A true gentleman. You will be missed, Charlie!

The Millers, Lapidies, Smiths, Snyders, Jones and more were our neighbors (the Platts). Growing up I thought all neighbors were like ours and that every neighborhood was like ours...loving caring fun watching out for each other. With each years passing I miss them all, love them all and wish I were back home surrounded by them all. Dr. Miller holds a special place in my heart and so too does his wife and family. I will miss him and wish I could be there with you all to share memories and...

Dr. Miller was our family doctor for many years until he retired. A more caring man would be hard to find. A lifelong pilot and aviation enthusiast could be seen frequently at the airport. We will miss him.

Love you Dad <3
