Not sure what to say?

Charlie, it doesn´t seem like a year has passed without you in our lives. We continue to miss you and Penny. I think about you often. I know, you are happy and in the arms of Jesus. I hope you know, how much you both are missed!

We know, Charles and Penny are having a wonderful Valentine´s Day together, in Heaven! We miss you both. Love, Angelo and Stephanie

Charlie, I miss you and Penny. I can´t believe it has been 8 months since your death. I am sure, you and Penny are having the best holiday season with Jesus and your loved ones. I think about you both, often. You will never be forgotten.

I do not know Charlie or Penny but I so enjoyed reading about their beautiful lives together and the testament of many who witnessed their love. I wish there were more " Charlies and Pennys" "Life changes but Love is forever" Blessings to these two and their family. Signed,A believer that a good life will be rewarded.

Charlie and Penny Mills were our next door neighbors on Woodland Drive in the early sixties. I was a child then, younger than six, and my sister was two years younger. Every weekday morning I awoke to the sound of Charlie and Penny´s footsteps just outside the bedroom window, with Penny´s high heels making a click-click-click sound. They would start the car, and leave. They had a large long haired gray cat named Ruskin that my sister and I wanted desperately to pet, but Ruskin was not a...

I never knew Mr. Mills, but I have to say this was the most heartwarming story about a man's passing I can remember ever seeing - He obviously a good and kind person and this earth was so fortunate to have him spend more than a century on it - We are all better for having had Charlie Mills around, whether we ever met him, or not -

I worked with Penny Mills at Wachovia Bank in 1964. She was the kindest & sweetest co-worker at my first job thru DECA. I was a senior at East Mecklenburg and part time file clerk in Loan Administration Dept. She spoke so often of her Charlie and I never forgot her kindness. Such a sweet story of a remarkable man who loves his wife.

What a kind and truly amazing gentleman. While I didn´t know Mr. Charlie, after reading his life story how I wished I had. What a good person you were Mr. Charlie Mills. I´m sure The Master welcomed him will open loving arms and said, well done my child, Charlie. May he RIP. My sympathies to Penny and all who knew and loved this rare and Godly man. Know he will be truly missed.

Even though I did not know Mr. Charles Mills, I read his obituary. This obituary was such a sweet sentiment, and at some points, made me cry. I am smiling in the fact that he had such a wonderful life, and I grieve with your family over the loss of an amazing man. God bless Mr. Charles Mills, and God be with and bless Mrs. Lorene Mills.
