The best mentor, father figure and friend, I truly feel blessed to have Dr. Morris and wife, Dr. Jeanne in my life, and the lessons I learned over the years working together on the Bloomington- Normal Black History Project and the McLean County Museum of History. I will miss Charles for the many ways. He helped me develop and grow as professional with his wisdom, kindness, offering advice.

Dave and family, So very sorry for your loss. Neal and I wish we could be there in person to extend our condolences but have previous commitments. Your family is in our prayers.

My husband Steve and I knew your family at McKinley Presbyterian Church and Foundation at the U of I. I am so happy I got to visit Charles a few days before he died and thank him for being the best Board President at WACC that I ever had. Some over supervised, but Charles was such a busy man, at both ISU and as a member of the Board of Regents for the State of Illinois...

Always the gentleman, Dr. Charles Morris´ presence quietly changed the status quo in Bloomington/Normal, ISU for the better. He was a good friend to Sam and =me. The friendship and support both he and Jeanne gave us spanned the years we were at ISU. As special memory stands out. Charles and Jeanne joined us in Hawaii while Sam was leading his cross cultural teacher education project. That time will always be a special memory to me. Rest in peace dear friend. I am sending my love to...
