Mr mortel you were my favorite teacher and you taught me alot of things that have made me a living over the years and Im very thankful for all the knowledge and all the good chats you will never be forgotten my friend till we meet again..

I can still see Chuck and I running off the field after a tackle on a kick-off. He was a great teammate and a good friend. Steve DeWald

Charles and his brother were the big kids in the neighborhood, they had cool cars hot rods and motorcycles. As a young kid I would watch the two of them work on their Willys drag pick up. It was a amazing time for a kid to see something like this for my first time. I remember my father and brother and I going to watch the two brothers play hockey. I remember Charles mother she loved her flowers she had in her yard. I have so many good memories of those days. May he rest in peace now. So sorry...

Marsha, my condolences to you and the whole Mortel family. God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, nor sun without rain. He did promise strength for the day and comfort, not for the tears, but smiles with Chuck memories because they happened!
