Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of speaking with Mr. Mortimer (aka Duke) numerous times when I visited Westfall Winery. He was a man of great knowledge and I truly enjoyed our conversations. He encouraged me to pursue my interests in acting and music.....thank you Sir!

RIP Buddy

My deepest sympathy to the Mortimer Family. I only met Mr. Mortimer once. H was kind enough to let me call make a call to get my house across the street unlock by the landlord. He lived a long prosperous life and my sympathies to the family.

Mr. Mortimer (Duke) "From the Kennedy Family". We have known the Mortimer's going back to the 50's and early 60's when our mother and father where best of friends. We all remember going to their home on Westview Rd in Montclair, NJ where we once stuck our brother Bobby (Duke called him "brown bear")in their dryer and tried to start it! Then onto Greenview Way also in town and of couse to the Farm that was truly our vision of Disney Land and another favorite Normandy Beach.

Oh what...

My heart is broken. He was a wonderful, generous, caring man who made a difference in the lives of so many young people, as well as many of us "older types." I will never forget my visits with him at Westfall Farm or the way his smile could light up a room. He embraced life and all those around him, and will be greatly missed.

Mr Mortimer was in charge of our plays at Morristown Beard, he was wonderful. He was extremely intelligent, kind, funny and motivating. He made us all feel good about our accomplishments.I had the pleasure of going to NYC w Mr Mortimer and recording for Mrs Basil movie. I loved his smile and still think of him often after 36 yrs, he will be missed, my condolences to the family

It was a pleasure and honor to know Duke. We were fortunate to have spent some personal time on his beautiful farm. He always and we mean always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Generous and gracious. We wish his family comfort and peace during this difficult time. The Arwadys

My deepest condolences to Duke's family. He was a wonderful man, caring, kind, sweet and so funny. It was an honor and a pleasure to have been part of his life. I'm going to miss him so much. RIP my sweet angel.

His drama club and the GAIT program he hosted there opened my world up to theater, music and volunteer work. There is no words I can use to express how much his programs changed my life. Im so sorry I can't make it to the memorial in March due to being stationed in Okinawa with my family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
