Beloved fiancé of Peggy Terrell and husband of the late Patricia Lee Murphy (nee Lanier); dearest father of Gary Murphy; dear grandfather of Joel (Talitha) Murphy and Bruce (Tanya) Murphy; great-grandfather of Ellie and Kai Murphy; loving son of the late Hollis "Bud" and Dorothy Murphy; brother of Judy (James) Davis, Ray (Carol) Murphy, Jerry (Beth) Murphy and the late Patsy Ann Stephens, Eugene Murphy, Ed (survived by Robin) Murphy and Joe Murphy; our dear uncle and friend of many.
Charles was known by many as the owner/operator of Murphy Tree Service as an accomplished arborist and consultant.
Services: Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, May 13, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service at Stanfield Cemetery, Clarkton, Missouri, Saturday, May 14, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
