Not sure what to say?

Just thinking about Charlie yesterday- looking at a property near Sassafras. What a great guy! Miss him!

Charlie was dedicated to his profession, land surveying, and he gave back to it in many ways. He was President of the Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Association of Surveyors 2012 and 2013 and we all knew that we could count on Charlie to do the best he could for the surveyors he represented. The VAS will miss him greatly.

Charlie will be missed. He sure loved his cadilacs. It was a pleasure to know him.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

Kathie and Girls- though we haven't met, I feel like I know you. Charlie talked about you always. His love for you was ever-present. He never shied away from letting us know Kathie was his right hand! He was such a wonderful person to know and work with over the years.
I pray for you to find peace, for that is what he has now. God bless you.

Kathie, I am so sorry for your loss. Everyone who met Charlie instantly liked him. I was fortunate enough to work with him regularly, and trusted him above all others for his knowledge and expertise. Hampton Roads has lost a good man, and he will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and your family.

kathy, i was shocked when i heard this terrible news. please know my thoughts are with you guys

Kathie:

I have known and worked with Charlie for well over 25 years. What a delightful person to be associated with. I know he will be deeply missed and hope you and your family know how well respected he was in his professional and personal life. Our conversations were always light and humorous, and his work was professional and accurate. I will miss him.

Kathie,
I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. We have all lost a great person. As you know, Charlie and I spent many years together working on many projects throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and I know that our profession has lost a great Land Surveyor, also. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of mourning.
