Not sure what to say?

Deepest sympathy to Mr. Newton's family. I had the honor of working with his Son, Crady who is one of the most caring and wonderful young men I know - a credit to Mr. Newton's (and Mrs. Newton)! May your family find peace in the fullness of his time here on earth and treasure many happy memories.

Flo, Dominique and Crady,
I just learned of Tippy's passing, and I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Charles was a lawyer of great ability and integrity. Vinson & Elkins was a better firm with him and thanks to his contributions. It is an honor to be among the many lawyers he recruited to the firm, only one of the ways his influence will endure. His memory will be cherished, his presence sorely missed. My condolences to his family and loved ones for the time with him that they have now lost.

Dominique- We were so sorry to learn of your father's passing. I will forever remember what a particularly kind man he was and his ability to make anyone feel welcome and special in his presence. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Tippy and I had the most wonderful conversation after Dominique's wedding, before his illness took hold, and I am forever grateful for that. Doug & Amrita join me in sending love to Flo and the rest of the family. We regret being unable to be with you for the service, but will attend in our hearts.

Tippy was a leader from the time I met him. Flo, I carry you in my heart today.

Wonderful memories flood my heart while tears flood my eyes. Tippy was a wonderful friend that I will always cherish. My prayers are with you and the family. Love you.

News passes slowly sometimes from Austin to San Antonio. My brother Cole just told me this Thanksgiving Day about Tippy's passing. I have fond memories of his being one of my baseball coaches about 40 years ago, in Little League or Minor League. And then following behind him in baseball at Austin High. Loyal Forever

Will be forever grateful my husband Don & I sat with Tippy at our 150th Austin High Reunion; then that he asked Don and me to take him back to his hotel afterward. We were able to have a wonderful, lengthy visit! We are terribly sorry for your family's loss and are praying daily for you. Wish we could be with you on 12/2/08. I always loved Tippy as a good friend.
