Not sure what to say?

You are in our conversations so often. Your memory is very much alive. Love ,Rose

Campfires have not been the same since you left us and they never will be. Love you Charlie

Charlie you are really that favorite son -in- law. Missed so much! Special memories every day. Love Rose

My parents ( Earl & aleen Rogers) and my brother Pat, sister Pam & myself LeeAnne ( Annie) lived across the street from the Nordgaards in the heights area of Vancouver. My sister was good friends with Judy and I was 6 months younger than Chuck . I have happy memories of eating apple pie made by Bea and riding down the upstairs s bedroom stairs on a sleeping bag with Chuck while our parents sat at the kitchen table & visited. I also have a cute photo of Chuck at my 5th birthday party with...

I always enjoyed working with Charlie and had fun talking with him about my Dad working with his Dad Hammy at the cannery, his sister Judy being my school bus driver or him being an Eagle Scout. He had a lot of funny sayings at work like “If you don’t like this speed you won’t like the other one!” He was a nice person.

Although I barely knew Chuck I did know how happy he made my dear friend Lori. All my love to the family.

“I’ll decide” was the mantra of Charlie’s life. We were surprised by all the procedures he endured the last few years.....all for love of Lori. Campfires will never be the same...no one could pile up the wood like Charlie doing it his way. Gonna always miss you. You left us too soon. Give Jenni our love.

Words can not express the loss our family feels. Charlie always said “he was my favorite son-in-law”. Always helping us with anything we needed. Love you Charlie so much. Rest In Peace. Your favorite mother-in-law, Rose.
