Nancy, of course you know how special you and Chuck are to our family. He was always so supportive to me and our working relationship. Of course it is widely known that we consider you a part of the Gremel family and for good reason. Meredith and I want to express our heartfelt condolences to Chuck's entire family and we look forward to celebrating his life with you well beyond the wonderful service last Thursday. R.I.P. Every year or so my wife reminds me of our gratitude to Chuck for bringing our family to Grand Rapids so I could work for him back in 1992. We were "stranded" in the Deep South at the time. As a result of his kind offer, our daughters graduated from Michigan State and University of Michigan. He was a good man and a good guy to work for. Thank you Nancy for having us for dinner at your house when Kathy and I first came to town.

It is with great sadness that Chuck, a fine gentleman I worked with in Grand Rapids, has passed too early.
He was always a bright and dedicated person in all aspects of life. One of the lasting memories I have is a trip we made to Pebble Beach and played two courses on this "business trip".
He was always a very capable person, with a level demeanor that served him and those who knew him well.
Our sympathies to Chuck's family and friends.

Such a good man. Gone too soon. His obituary speaks of a remarkable life of a son, husband, father, grandfather, co-worker, church member and a servant of God. He did it all so well. Praise the Lord for Chucks 73 years amongst us.

Chuck was a very special person. I had the pleasure to work for him at Westinghouse and enjoyed seeing him at church while we were members there. He was a great example of a human being....he was kind, gentle and had a fun personality. He definitely loved his family. Our sympathies to Nancy and all the extended family. We will all miss him but know that he was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.

Dear Nancy,
The servant/leadership you and Chuck lived at Thornapple Church has been a shining example of how to be God's hands & heart in serving His body of believers. No task was too lofty or too humble for the "Chuck & Nancy Team" to accomplish for the church you love. Nancy, as Chuck rejoices now in the Presence of the Lord, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you be comforted by God's sustaining Grace, surrounded by loved ones and uplifted at every moment...
