As my journey on the Road to Eternity continues, I remain grateful for many blessings. Charles O´Neill´s presence in my life long after Jesuit High School is surely one of the best of them.

Father O'Neill was an outstanding human being-what a priest should be. He was a real influence in my Jesuit High School experience. May he rest in peace. Remy Fransen

January 14, 2010 It was my good fortune to have known and been taught many good life lessons by Father O'Neil while a student at Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1951-53. He was the prime example of what a man whose life was devoted to Christ should be. I'll have nothing but fond memories of those treasured days on Banks and Carrollton. I know how happy he must be in the presence of our Lord, hearing those words,"Well done, good and faithful servant".

Charles O'Neill was one of those rare and wonderful persons who inspired and influenced those whose lives he touched.
In my senior year at Jesuit High School in 1953-1954, he was surely not one of my favorite teachers. As I have grown wiser, I recognized his marvelous gifts and cherish the times and talks we shared.
He enormously enlarged my life on the road to eternity and will remain a treasure in my memories forever.
Charles made a better world for me....

My condolences to the O'Neill family. It saddens me to learn of the death of my friend Charlie. From our first meeting in our early years at Grand Coteau through the many visits including tours of Rome my wife and I treasured our times with this humble man.
