I am a friend from Hilltop Elementary, and I have fond memories of years together with Charles, Ray, Perry, Bobby, Morris, Kay... I'm sure we tested our teachers' patience: Mrs. Wingo, Miss Poole, Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Brakefield-- as well as our principal, Mr. Parris. Looking back, we had a wonderful, storybook childhood, though, straight from TV's "The Wonder Years". Charles was always sweet and kind to me, and I will never forget his kindness. Jerri, I have known Chuck since Boy Scouts and growing up together in Hilltop. My heart is saddened at this news. my prayers be with you. I left after Highschool and went into service and lost contact, with Chuck and I am now in Alabama, while my family is in Inman. The days at Hilltop School with Chuck, Mike Caton, Ray Jennings will always be remembered.

Chuck and I go way back. I have very fond memories of the yellow Mustang and Camero days. I'm sorry about his passing.
