Not sure what to say?

Charlie taught me that the true measure of a man's life is the degree to which he learns to Love his fellow man. Charlie set the foundation for the success of Orme School. I've been one of the many who benefited from knowing such a great man. I am eternally grateful for everything that I learned at Orme School. Charlie and the School will always be close to my heart.

I am saddened to hear of Charlie's passing - but I realize that all of us at some point have to continue on with our next journey -but there are those truly special people that you would like to "always have around" and one of those special souls would be "Charlie". You will be greatly missed. I remember coming to Orme and I was amazed at how Charlie could have each students' name memorized by the end of the first week of school - that was the type of person he was, he made a special effort...

As I look forward to attending our reunion next weekend, I am remembering so many of the experiences and individuals that shaped my life and the person I am today....a person I sincerely hope Charlie would be proud of as a graduate of his school. While it will be wonderful to reconnect and remember with so many old friends; there will be a great void without Charlie to greet each one of us by name, with the genuine care and personal interest he always had in each one of us. Thank you Charlie...

My sympathy to the family. He was such a kind soul. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to Mimi and her family. Many of my favorite memories are from experiences at Orme both as a student and an adult. Without Charlie and the Orme Shool my life would have been very different and not nearly as rich.

The Orme Family

Charles' mother was my great aunt and though I only met cousin Charles once, I have always been aware of his many wonderful accomplishments. To all the family - you remain in my prayers.

My Deepest Sympathy to the Orme Family and School!!! I will always remember the "Good Morning" Hello's from Charlie in Founders at the start of Each Day!!! My thoughts and Prayers are with the Orme Family!! Jeff Civale 1988

I offer my condolences to Mimi and the Orme family. Charlie offered warmth and stability for many of us who most needed those qualities in our daily lives. I will always be grateful for my years at Orme, and for Charlie and Mimi's care.
