Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear of your loss, but remember this, he is playing in a better band and is no longer in pain. Love to all of you. Jo Ann

Sherri & Loretta, didn't get to stand by your side, as you honored your Dad/husband, but stand with you still, in heart and spirit, praying for you; that you experience the real peace and deep comfort only God can supply. Our loved ones leave us, in this life, but God promised "I will never leave you or forsake you". We can hold Him to His word! Know you're continually in my prayers, and I'm near any time you need me.

Sherri and Loretta(Mom),
Take comfort in knowing that God can and will get you through such a sorrowful time as this. Always remember the good times, I know that there were so many. I love you both and just know that I am here for you!

Sherri & Loretta I know you will never stop missing your wonderful father & husband. Treasure the great memories of the time you were blessed to have him. Accept the comfort God is sending you now & be strengthened in the days to come.

Charlie was a walking history book on country music in For Worth and surrounding areas. My wife, Carol Savage Jones, and I loved hearing him tell stories about Bob Wills and other greats. His tales were always brightened by the twinkle in his eye and a smile. We both served with Charlie and Loretta on the Cowtown Society of Western Music board and were privileged to get to know this great couple. We will really, really miss Charlie. He was a special man. Jim and Carol Jones

The Owens family moved into our neighborhood (Glenwood/fifth ward)in 1942. Charlie was always counted among my very best friends. I will always remember the good times during our growing up years and we remained close during our adult years. Loretta, Sherry, Susan, Larry and Harvey Lynn...you know I share your loss.
