So sad to hear of Chuck's passing. I was Chuck's HONOR FLIGHT guardian 2 years ago. My own father was on that same flight, but my older brother served as his guardian. I was more than happy to serve as Chuck's buddy that day, as he had no one available. We had a great few weeks before the flight getting to know one another, a great trip that June 1st day to Washington DC, and tried to stay in touch afterwards. My own father (90) passed in January, he an infantryman/mortar man in WW II. ...
