Dr. Charles Anthony Panetta

It is with heavy heart to hear the passing of my mentor, adviser, and teacher. Rest in peace Charlie.

We are very sorry to hear about the passing away of Dr. Panetta, my mentor at Ole Miss. He was a very kind Professor, that made a great impact on his students and made a difference in student lives. I have fond memories of being Dr. Panetta's graduate student. He was a brilliant research guide, a teacher and a mentor. He will always be remembered, in our thoughts and prayers. We pray that GOD grant the Panetta family strength and peace at this time of sorrow.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
