"Pappy" as we at Kerr lakeside knew him, were good friends. He knew me as Dale back then, we shared many stories of hunting and fishing as well personal stuff and. He invented me and my wife Penny to a cookout at his home ,were he sent out for mc Donald´s French fries LOL. I left KLI in 1981, but still think of him every time I see trains on tv or on the road, he told me he worked on trains in the stock years. Good man and friend. I´ll have to show this to my wife of 54 years, she remembers...

Yes , I worked with Pappy for years at KLI. He was a great friend and guy. We traded stories all the time. I was in charge of the multiple spindle dept. I left kerrlakeside after 17 years, in 1981. I’m 75 now. Think of him often. Good man (person). My name is Dale if any of you render me from the cook out. I remember the hammerhead shark . I miss him too!!!!
