Not sure what to say?

I've long lived away from Shreveport and just learned of Charles' passing. I came to know Charles in the late 1970s-early 1980s when he was serving on the Shreveport City Council and I was a reporter for The Shreveport Times. I'll always remember Charles as a man of outstanding character, capability, and kind consideration of others. He enriched my life and, I'm confident, the lives of countless other fortunate people.

Love you
Miss you
Happy you have no more pain.

Dear Betsy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children. I was so saddened to hear of Charles' death.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Peatross has always been such a warm, kind, loving man who found so much joy in his family. God Bless

He was the finest man that I've ever known and worked with. God bless him and his family.

I'll miss my fellow Judge, a fine man and a student of the law.

Judge Peatross will be missed. May everyone cherish the many memories and find solace at 1 Corinthians 15:22

A kind gentleman, an exemplary lawyer, and an excellent judge--he will be missed.
