Not sure what to say?

Dear Family - We will miss knowing that Charlie and Joanie will be visiting on their way to Chester to Florida or visa vesa. For many years they would stop by by, eyrher by car or boat and we would have a nice visit. They welcomed us abord the "Let's" just as Lillian and Armand had welcomed us on the "Vaya Con Dios " in years past. Joanie would cook up wonderful meals in the galley or we'd take them out to dinner, weither on Kent Island or Baltimore. I will miss knowing this very special...

Charlie was a man that shaped who I am by the way he was. Kind and always caring about family. A smile on his face was a constant. Full of energy so much that we all thought he would live forever. I can't help but picture Charlie and others that passed before him sitting at a picnic table laughing just as they had at Chester many times before.

Prayers for Joan and condolences to all.

I'm so sorry to hear of Charlie passing. I am so glad I got to spend time with him a couple of weeks ago at Linda's birthday dinner. Him and my dad were good friends growing up and graduated together with dick and Ellie. My dad always had nice things to say about him. He was a kind man with a big smile. I know Joanie will be lost without him. My prayers are with his nieces and nephews. Holly Dorsey

I know you are on a boat somewhere beautiful. Rest in peace

Celebrating my birthday March 31,2019

Charlie was as fine a man as I've ever known. He was good, kind, and the best friend my father and mother ever had. I have so many memories from childhood through adulthood of Joan and Charlie.

He's somewhere on the ocean now,
A place he loved to be.
One hand on the starboard bow,
He's waving back at me.

Dear Joan, we are so very sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. Although we have lost touch in the past years, you and Charlie always held a special place in our hearts. Please know that our prayers are with. We will not be in town for the funeral. May all your beautiful memories help sustain you. With love, Lori and Dick Stoddard
