Dear Esther and family,
Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother Charles. Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your entire family.

Dr. Peller was kind enough to let me follow him around the hospital on rounds and observe his surgeries at Aultman hospital when I was a college student interested in medicine in the late 70's and early 80's. He taught me so very much and I still remember some of his "medical pearls" some 30 years later and repeat them to my medical students and residents. He was a generous man and one of the reasons I became a surgeon.

Dear Sherri: I was sorry to hear of Charles' death. He was a good friend. Bill Howland
