My father, Donald Somers (who passed away in 2015) respected Charlie so much and they had a very nice friendship. They worked together for the VFW for many years. Charlie was so kind to my dad and our family during my father's Alzheimer's. And now my own mother passed away last week. Imagine the great time they all (including Charlie's wife Anne) are having up in heaven together! Sending my deepest condolences to Charlie's family.
