Not sure what to say?

CC passed away 7 months before I was born. I miss him although I never met him. If anyone has any stories about him or photos about him, I would love to hear them. I just want to get to know him. You will be missed big brother.

Michael Riley I'm not sure if you remember me but I remember you very well. I was one of CC friends back home. He loved you so much, talked about you all the time in his letters. There's not a day goes by that something doesn't remind me of him. Especially now I know he would be so heart broken to hear about Carrie & momma Judy.

It took me 5 years to come to grips with the loss of Charles Clayton. Its crazy how, i sacrificied my life and was only wounded, he sacrificed his life and it cost him just that. In todays times i wish me and him could talk. We never held our tongues with one another. We didnt see color. We saw respect, trust and loyalty.

We will meet in the next life brother!

12 years ago today you gave the ultimate sacrifice. I ask if anyone sees this entry even if it is years later from today; if you have pictures or even stories with CC if you could email them to me that would be greatly appreciated. [email protected]

I love and miss you each day.

Katie

Remembering you today, brother. Love you.

To my brother and best friend. Charles C. Persing is gone but never forgotten. We joined together, left baton rouge together, went to basic together and faught together, I miss you bro. Forever my hero!!!!!

Persing, its been almost ten years and i think of you everyday. I will never forget you, you live on through me and the other brothers. I hope in the next life God lets us server together again. I love you brother.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. And as your sister I'm taking after your foot steps to go into the army. I wish one day that someone will look up to me as I look up to you. I love you more and wish I could remember more than just seeing you at your graduation in Georgia. I love you and hope to see you one day again.
