When I read all the messages from all the people that loved Charlie, I have to say it makes me smile. I was with Charlie a long time, and I was always amazed at how many friends he had. I believe I posted here when Charlie passed. This year would have been Charlies 50th Bishop Kenny High School Reunion. COVID-19 has canceled the event, but Charlie is ever remembered and loved as an integral part of our high school experience. Ashton, I only just found out that your dad passed away. I am heart broken, Also to find out that Charlie Sr passed really put me in a state of depression. Charlie was a very special person. The world is not the same without him. Just know that your dad & grandfather worshiped the ground you walked on.

Ashton, I was a classmate of Charlie's at St Jude's and we continued our friendship while I was at Notre Dame and he at Barry. I lost track of him when the family moved. I was crushed when I read in the obit that he live on Ft Myers Beach. I live in Ft Myers. I wish I had stayed connected and could have continued our friendship.
