Sally you must know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you begin this journey of life without Charles at your side. He is forever in your heart and ours as well. The life at Leesburg Presbyterian Church, the trips to Scotland with him as our leader and guide, and the family friend that helped nurture us through parenthood and family events. Dr. Pickell provided invaluable guidance to me when I was an elder at Vienna Pres as I worked to discern what I perceived to be a strong calling to the ministry following my retirement from the military. As a result I entered Union Seminary in Richmond, commuting home to Vienna on the weekends, and completed my M.Div at the age of 52.
