Dr. Pickell provided invaluable guidance to me when I was an elder at Vienna Pres as I worked to discern what I perceived to be a strong calling to the ministry following my retirement from the military. As a result I entered Union Seminary in Richmond, commuting home to Vienna on the weekends, and completed my M.Div at the age of 52.
