Read MoreI met Mr. Pickelsimer and his family as a young man in the mid-1970's. My rather brief encounter with him left an indelible impression on me of his being a powerful, complex and unique man. By happenstance, I came to know of his passing some 35 years later and wanted to express my condolences to his family.

I did not know Mr. Pickelsimer personnaly, but he was a VERY INTERESTING person to talkto. He was very Knowledgeable about everything.My late wife and me worked at Cascade Lake Campground in 2005 and 2006 and that is where that I met him.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Charles. I remember many hours years ago sitting with the group at McDonalds talking and drinking coffee. I am a former resident of Brevard. May God bless your family.
