Charlie was always helping others. He became my Bocce mentor after having just one game with him. We played together for 3 years and toasted together after games. He will be sorely missed by our Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge.

When I first saw this obituary and photo in the Wilkes - Barre paper this morning I was shocked and very sad...Charlie was a good friend at the Navy Depot.....He had the best smile although it disappeared for a few years.....We stayed in touch after his retirement.......I kept him up to date on news, sports, obituaries from "back home" that I thought he'd be interested in ....We talked about our "Glory Days" playing football at Pittston High School....Charlies days had a lot more glory in...
