I had no idea that Charles Ray was still alive. My Dad, Justin (Jay) Hickey, worked for Charles Ray in the early 60's at Arlington Cement Contractors. I remember "Curb and gutter is my bread and butter".
Also, in the early 60's I remember going dove hunting with him and my dad and I was his "bird dog". He rarely missed and that kept me running.
