Charlie and Evelyn were such a part of my childhood. They were fun, and interesting and Charlie was the first pilot I'd ever met. How cool was it to have an uncle and a cousin who actually drove a train!!! Thanks for all the memories. Love Marty Brown

Dear Evelyn, Cathy and Kevin,
I am thinking of you today, sending you best wishes. Cousin Charlie was loved by we Pogue kids, as well as our parents Clayton and Ruth. Jim mentioned that it was special to be with Charlie and Dad, and I agree. It was a big celebration when Charlie and Ev visited the farm. My father, Clayton, had a special relationship with Charlie and being in their company even when nothing much was going on was thoroughly enjoyable. I was...

My mom and dad and our whole family (Harry and Bea Carpenter) have been friends of Charlie and Evelyn for as long as I can remember. They were always at our Ward reunions and all other family gatherings. We always enjoyed Charlie's airplane stories. He would talk about when he and our Uncle Merritt would go for plane rides and plane rides with other friends. It was also fun to hear his stories about riding his motorcyle. We also have memories of when we (Dave and Karen Cramer)lived in...

Uncle Charlie and Aunt Evelyn have been a part of our family before I was born. They were my parents ( Tom and Naida Pelton) neighbors when they were first married, and have been in our family ever since. On the every-other weekend they would come over and end up at the kitchen table discussing the worlds problems over many cups of coffee. A bunch of laughter and many good times. Some fond memories of Uncle Charley taking me for a ride on his motor cycle in the evening, one summer night. ...
