Not sure what to say?

"Uncle Charlie", It's hard for me to put into words how much you're loved and missed. I thank you for all the little talks about work and life.

Jalen and Theron don't know it yet, and I will explain it to them when they get older, but they were truly blessed to come in contact with such a warm and loving man, as I was.

Love Paul (a "cabbage head" member) & Family

Dear Charlie,

We love and miss you so very much.

You have been part of our family for thirty-six years and you will be greatly missed by all of our family and friends in England.

Donna and Paul and family are heartbroken at your loss; that we will never get our BIG hugs and kisses from you again. Mum Caroline said a prayer for you, Charlie, and she said she will miss seeing you on her trips to the U.S.A.

It will never be the same without you,...

I still think of C.P. as my "Uncle Charlie," which was the name I called him for 20 years. He was my godfather, but I thought of him as family. (I will always be grateful that I was one of his "kids.")

He was a wonderful cheerleader for my life and a good, good man. I will cherish the love and guidance he gave me forever, and never stop missing his big bear hugs and sloppy kisses.

I love you, C.P.!

Pat, Timmy, Vickie and Lisa - you are in my heart and...

I only met C.P. a number of times but they were moments I will never forget. He truly was the kind of person who brightened a room whenever he entered it.

My girlfriend, Donna Clay, grew up with C.P. He was her godfather, but he was much more than that. He always believed in her and every time he saw her, he offered her encouragement and advice.

When I met him, C.P. made sure that I felt welcome in his large, extended family and that I was taking good care of "his...

CP was a wonderful man that I was lucky enough to meet thru Donna Clay. I remember The Fourth of July Fire-Works Extravaganza that he and Mr. Clay put on in the street. His welcoming spirit and open and friendly nature will be greatly missed in this world. You were cool CP!

The Bowers + "C.P. and the gang" spent every Christmas-Thanksgiving, and many other days that have no names together since I was born(26 yrs ago). Every time I walked up to C.P.'s house he would crack me up one way or the other-never failed. Growing up he called me "cabbage head" then in my teen years I graduated to "keg head". I remember the countless times you sat patiently in your golf cart as I hacked up the links("I won't mention how many times you would cuss me out-oops- I mean give...

I guess everybody thought that they were a best friend of Charlie's. He must have had hundred's BEST friend's. All I know is that when I drove up to my dad's (Monty) house on the weekends and CP's car was outfront, I knew it was party time! You could hear him hollering from the curb. But it was the kind of hollering that we loved from him. He was always joking and debating about politics and current news events. You could never beat him in a debate, but you could always beat him out of...

Words cannot begin to describe the kind of man my dad was.
So I will cherish my memories of
him, forever in my heart. Until we meet again daddy, The Original
"GABBAGE HEAD"
Your daughter,
Lisa

I have known Charlie since my childhood. I was known to him as "Cabbagehead". Everytime when I saw him when I was a little girl, he would say "hey Cabbage heads" to me and my sister Richelle and give us each a $1 bill. When my sister and I grew up, we resumed our real names by him and then our kids became "Cabbage heads" and recieved the $1 bill. Little did I know, all kids were cabbage heads, until they grew up. He was one of the kindest men I knew. I love him and will miss him. He...
