Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Chuck was an amazing friend! I only knew him for a short time, but he was so vibrant and funny! Well miss you Chuckles♡

I own a small assisted living in Idaho for Alzheimer’s patients. When helping a new resident who had a had impaired abilities after a stroke, I mentioned that I understood. I shared a small story about my dad. After three days off I returned to work and that same patient clearly lit up with excitement. Hello he said, your dad spoke to me last night. I sat for a moment as he told me my dad explained to him his similar stroke experience. I thought. Hmm. That’s my dad. He is still making house...

What a life! He lived it largely, and gave so very much! It was always a pleasure to connect, starting with Churchill soccer "back in the day".
Much love to the family,
Sue Archbald

We already paid tribute to Chuck in this Guestbook but feel a need to expand our message of condolence and respect a bit. Connie was Chucks RN at River Road Medical Group from 1970 until end 1972, while I was attending the UofO Business School. Apart from Chucks very apparent medical competences, it were also his social and communicative skills that made him the great physician he was in taking care of his patients, but also as Connies "boss" (though he would never have used that word)....

Thank you for your friendship and trust. Love, Tricia

Rest in peace Dr. Pyfer. They don't make doctors like you anymore. You were the best!!! Thank you for all the years you spent keeping my family healthy.

While I only knew Chuck for a short time late in life, I immediately fell in love! He was warm, funny, and never took himself too seriously, just like a true gentleman. It is not often that I meet someone who did so much good for other and at the same time is so modest. I will forever keep him in my heart.

Our heartfelt condolences to the Charles Pyfer family. We thought the world of him.

A beautiful tribute to a amazing man. You are missed by many Chuck. I feel privileged to have called this man my friend. Forever in our hearts. Prayers for Kathy, and the Pyfer family.
