My girlfriend and I met Chuck when we were traveling in the US in 2005. He invited us to his home and we spent an evening chatting and drinking wine. I found his blog when he went on his motorbike trip and every so often would scour the internet, as I wondered what he was up to. Best wishes to his wife and son.

Sad to hear of Chuck’s passing. I met Chuck in Alaska in 2006. We shared a couple campsites and meals. We corresponded after meeting. I’d follow Quast Dog’s World Beer Tour. I’m glad he found happiness!
