Charles R. Rainey Sr.

Charles R. Rainey Sr., a U.S. Air Force veteran who retired with the rank of sergeant, a chauffeur with GSA before his retirement, died at V.A. Medical Center on Monday, December 4, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2000, 8-10 a.m., at St. James Methodist Church, 1925 Ursuline Avenue, New Orleans. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, 10 a.m., at the church, officiated by the Rev. Joseph A. Tilly. Interment will be at Providence Memorial Park & Mausoleum. Arrangements entrusted to Boissiere-Labat Family Funeral Services, New Orleans, Louisiana.
