Mr. Ray was my 5th grade elementary teacher at Garfield Elementary the year 1966 and 1967. He was very kind and friendly and any time that I reminisce about my elementary school years I always mention him as one of my favorite teachers.
With many prayers and my deepest sympathy I give to his family.

I had a long career at CNN probably thanks to Charlie who got me interested in TV while a student at Muncie Central and helped me produce a daily newscast of the daily announcements...later he suggested we take several new small tv cameras over to the field house to do a multi-camera recording of the Central high school basketball games.
