Charles Robert Reed

I am full of admiration and love for Pastor Charles Reed. I attended Berean Baptist for around 20 years, and learned very early on that our God is one of love and grace, not retribution and punishment. I'll never forget when Pastor Reed called me up one day and said, "Well, Rick, I reeled in a big one today, boy." What a man - What a PASTOR !! I loved Chuck and he was there for me when I had some rough times. I miss him dearly. His messages were always right on. God Bless.

I miss "Chuck" so much. Every time I pass by Berean I think of him. He helped me so much when I was going thru some really tough family times, and was always there to counsel me and in a very Godly way. He taught me a lot about God and how to manage life. I miss him still to this day.

Pastor Reed was my pastor for 30 years at Berean Baptist Church. He was faithful to the Word of God. Much of my early Christian walk was carved out in his sermons. He was beloved by his testimony and by the community. God gets all the glory.

Pastor Reed was the reason why we came to Berean 44 years ago. He knew his Bible and taught it will. I not only loss a Pastor but a good friend. We played a lot of solfball and did a little fishing Carol and I will pray for the family.

We will dearly miss the Godly wisdom and calming presence of our friend Pastor Reed. At the same time, we rejoice that God was so gracious to end his suffering and he is now at home with his Savior.
