Charles Reed

Charles was assigned to Fitzsimons Army Hospital at the same time I was. It was my great pleasure to share the care of our ward of tuberculosis patients with him ; he was one of the finest physicians I met in my entire career. I treasure the picture of him attending my wedding to Ruth Johnson in April 1968 just before we both finished our tour of duty at Fitzsimons. I worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Mickelsen who when a dentist fresh out of college, had his practice in the basement of the building that Dr. Reed and associate´s occupied. He was a patient of ours. A sweeter man was never made! May he rest in peace.

Our condolences to the family. Appreciated Dr. Reed so much, he treated my Father for years. His kindness and caring nature was immeasurable. Rest in Eternal peace Dr.

So enjoyed our times together with the Lawsons before the C of I basketball games. A very special man-so kind and humble.

Growing up in Caldwell Idaho has awarded me to know so many fine people of which Dr. Reed was one of them. What an interesting life he led. So long Doctor as it was an honor knowing you.
