Dear Alan and family,
Charles was a man of great kindness, and we will miss him very much. We first met him in Greer when he worked at State Auto, in the early 1970's. Though our occasions to see him were rare, our conversations always seemed to pick up where they had ended before. What a bright mind he had. We send our sincere condolences to all of you.
